Hi everyone, back with an exciting update!

You might remember the first proof that Expert sent me. The color was off and the faces were offset, so I requested a new proof. After a long wait, I received the new proofs, and I'm pleased to say they look great!

As you can see, the faces look much better, and the color is spot on. It also handles like a dream. If you like soft decks, you're going to love Spuds. They do really feel like old Studs, and it's pretty crazy. I'm very pleased with it, and the final product is going to have the same quality (if not better).

I've officially approved the deck and told EPCC to go ahead with the production. At this point, I'm just waiting to hear from them again. Hopefully they will start production soon, and I should have a shipping date for you in the near future! I'll be sure to update you when the decks have printed and again when they're ready to ship.

Thank you so much for sticking with me and keeping your trust in me throughout this process. I know it's been a long wait, and I apologize for that. But I'm confident these cards are going to turn out great, and if all goes well, you'll have them in your hands by the end of summer!

Hello backers, it has been awhile since the last update.

I have solved all the issues with EPCC and now the new physical proof is in the production at the moment. Once the physical proof has been approved by me, the production for the deck will begin soon after. 

I'm thankful for everyone has been so patient with me. This type of delay will not happen again in the future and I am terribly sorry about the long wait for this deck. 

I will update more when the new physical proof is here along side with pictures of it.

Long Overdue Update

Hey again everyone!

It's been a while since the last update, and I wanted to let you guys know what's going on.

First of all, I got the first physical proof from Expert, but it didn't turn out as well as it could have due to some printing issues.

Here are some pics of what the issues are:

The color of the deck did not turn out as how I wanted it to be, it has more of a greener tint than the original teal green color. But the tuck box came out beautiful.

• The offset on the face was a bit much but the back was okay

Those issues have been fixed and I'm waiting on a new physical proof. Once I get that, I'll make sure it's up to Spud standards, and at that point the decks will be printed.

Unfortunately this is all taking a while since making these physical proofs can be time consuming. But I want to make sure the Spuds are the best they can be, so in exchange for a little longer of a wait now, you'll get perfect looking decks that feel great. The good news is that the decks will go to print shortly after I confirm the physical proof, and I'm confident the next proof will turn out great.

Survey and Tutorial Update

Hey everyone! Spud here with an exciting update.  

First, I want to apologize for this update taking so long. I ran into some technical difficulties with getting the tutorials set up, and the Backerkit survey took a while to set up as well.

I'm happy to say that the Backerkit survey has now been sent out! Check your email and please fill it out as soon as you get a chance. The survey lock down will be in May or when Gambler is about to ship out the decks. I will resend out the survey again near that date but if you haven't got the survey yet, I will send them out again. 

You can also add on more decks using Backerkit, so if you want more Spuds, now's your chance. Also, Backerkit accepts PayPal! I hope that'll help some of you get your hands on Spuds. 

Second, the Spud tutorials are officially available! If you backed a reward tier that included the tutorial pack, you'll be getting a link to view and download them. Have fun learning, and don't forget to tag me on Instagram when you've learned the moves :)

Third, Expert should be sending me the digital and physical proofs soon, so I'll shoot another update once that happens. After that, the production should start!

We did it!

Hey everyone,

The Kickstarter is officially over!! With all of your help, we were able to raise $12,408 for Spuds! I never thought I'd get that much. I just wanted to hit the funding goal of $6,000. It ended up being over double that amount, which is absolutely crazy. Thank you all so much for supporting Spuds and helping to make them a reality!

So what's next? First, I'll be sending out Backerkit surveys soon so you can add extra decks if you want. I'll update you after I've sent the surveys out.

Second, the tutorial bundle is in production! I want to make sure each tutorial is detailed and easy to understand, so I'll send them out as soon as I make them as perfect as possible.

I'll also be announcing the results of the brick raffle soon, so keep an eye out. Maybe you won that shiny new brick of tasty Spuds!

That's pretty much it for now––I'll be passing along more news and updates as they happen. I can't express how amazed I am with how this campaign turned out. THANK YOU all so much for loving Spuds!
